These terms describe use of Makom’s apps and website. Makom connects people requesting a view of a place with nearby participants who may record one. Questions can be sent to support@makom.to.

Preview availability

Makom is in early testing. Features, coverage and availability can change, and requests may not find a participant. A recording shows a moment in time and is not a guarantee of current conditions, safety or accuracy. Do not rely on Makom for emergencies or time-critical safety decisions.

Your account

Use accurate account information, protect your sign-in access and do not impersonate another person. Use the service only where you can lawfully agree to these terms and comply with local requirements. Report suspected unauthorized account access to us.

Requests and recordings

You are responsible for the requests and content you submit. Only share content you have the right and any necessary permission to share. Do not use Makom to stalk or identify private individuals, invade privacy, trespass, harass others, or request illegal or dangerous activity. Do not record while driving or in another situation where doing so creates risk.

You retain your rights in your content. By submitting it, you permit Makom to store, process and display it as needed to operate the requested sharing, feed and replay features. This permission is limited to operating and supporting the service. Other users may see shared content; do not submit confidential material.

Payments and preview balances

Preview prices, credits, balances or earnings displayed during testing do not by themselves establish a payout entitlement. Any real purchase or paid participation requires clear applicable payment terms before you agree to it. Do not assume a test balance is redeemable.

Privacy and permissions

Our privacy policy explains account data, location collection, recordings and your choices. Grant only the device permissions you choose to allow. Some features require particular permissions.

Reports and access restrictions

Contact support@makom.to to report a recording, privacy concern or abusive request. Include enough information to identify the issue without sending unnecessary sensitive information. We may restrict content or access to address misuse, security issues or applicable requirements.

Leaving the service

You can stop using Makom at any time. For account or content deletion, contact support from your account email. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete server-side data. See the privacy policy for retention and deletion details.

Changes and applicable rights

We may update these terms as the service develops and will identify the updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel. Nothing in these terms removes rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
